Reviewing & editing asset inspection data

Modified on Mon, 18 Mar at 3:11 AM

When beginning your review, it is good practice to start with a quick check to see if anything requires adjustment or manual entry. In some instances, not all the data may be picked up from the inspection title frame

Use the Inspection Details panel to edit the metadata for your inspection.

**Video-1.**

Not only do we need to make sure the metadata is correct, but we need to confirm if we are happy with the AI's output of defects. Scrolling through all the frames gives you an idea of what the condition is within the pipe but take a closer look at individual frames.

Use the Defect Details panel to review the data around a particular defect and make edits necessary to the chainage, clock references, or quantity value for a defect.

Lastly, edits can be made directly on a frame:

  • Change the defect classification

  • Hide or unhide a frame (hidden frames are not included in reports)

  • Leave a comment about a particular frame/defect

Now that the inspection has been edited, the status of the inspection needs to change from Uploaded to Reviewed. Click the drop-down arrow at the top of the right panel and select ‘Reviewed’. Now the survey will not appear in the Uploaded tab, but in the Reviewed tab instead indicating that this inspection has been looked at.
